Security Advice: From March 2003 New Zealand new Impreza's come with Microdots and a factory Immobiliser, but most Jap Imports have no security at all. The Impreza is easy to break into as it has pillar-less windows.

For Impreza's without a factory installed Immobiliser we would recommend Thatcham CAT 1 Alarm/Immobiliser with a custom installation. There are pleanty of good hiding locations on the Impreza but most Installs we see are to easy to get past. This is not a car to take short cuts with!
